Description

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass,
It's about learning to dance in the rain!"

Working on this piece was nothing less than struggle, struggle and a lot of real struggle, the idea for this was inspired by my wonderful friend :iconpjenz: who always urged me to never give up. Thank you so much dear!

I would really appreciate if someone would post a constructive criticism and let me know the areas where I might improve..this is certainly not the best from me!

My first reaction on this piece is that it is gorgeous! Very eye-catching colors. Blending is on point, as well as detail in the foreground. The only thing that caught me off guard, was the bridge. The amount of blur used in the background seems too heavy to me...as though it shouldn't be quite that far away. I still have a long way to go in practicing before my opinion can be trusted <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/g/g…" width="17" height="15" alt=":giggle:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="100" title="Giggle"/>, but a good person to ask about blur is :devkushelirmel-stock:. She has an excellent tutorial about the depth of field when using blur.

Even so, I love this work! I think you did a terrific job! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l…" width="19" height="19" alt=":la:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="577" title="La la la la"/> <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c…" width="20" height="20" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="60" title="Clap"/>
