Description

"How do you pick up the threads of an old life?
How do you go on...when in your heart you begin to understand....there is no going back?
There are some things that time cannot mend..some hurts that go too deep, that have taken hold..." - Frodo Baggins

My first manipulation after a long hiatus..I had always wanted to use these two wonderful stock models whose emotions and pose really complement each other, so it really compelled me to bring them together to create a scene with a sad ending...because I love sad endings which has a depth of realism in them!
I hope you enjoy this piece and feel the same emotion as me which this piece is trying to convey!

Background
Girl
Man
Ground
Bench
Luggage
Rose
Leaves

Many thanks to all the wonderful stock owners!

OK!! I'm only doing this because you have asked me to sweetness!! I never do critiques because who am I to critique anyone? Anyway all I'm doing here is pointing out those minor errors we talked about. Im not going to carp on about vision, impact etc......The shading on the bottom of the bench legs need darkening a little bit. The suitcase shadow would be bigger...The sun is behind it so the shadow would be pushed away from it. Know what I mean Amber? The dude would also have a shadow spreading away from him due to the light source! If his cane is touching the floor then the tip needs a shadow. If you look at the BG, you can see the direction of the tree shadows. There is no need to assume that the guy and objects in the manip would be any different. Lighting can make or break a piece so just pay attention to which area's would have more light/shade and direction Amber. Sometimes it doesn't hurt to enhance these elements a little more. Maybe the buildings in the BG could be blurred just a fraction more to really focus the attention onto the main subjects. Everything else rocks!
Thats about it hunny bunny! Lemme know what you think!!
